Founded in 2002, Milan Digital Audio emerged as a leading producer of instruments for the Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ software. Since acquiring the Hauptwerk parent company in 2008, Milan Digital Audio has continued the development of this unique and revolutionary musical instrument software in addition to producing new and exciting virtual instruments from around the world.

Our mission is to offer a completely realistic playing experience on world class instruments through intuitive and easy to use software that is available for the Mac and PC. Musicians around the world including concert organists, students, church organists, studio musicians and Hollywood film composers, use Hauptwerk along with our instruments for live performances, practice, worship services, composition, and sound track scoring.

Milan Digital Audio is owned by musician and sound engineer Brett Milan, who holds a double Master of Music in organ and piano performance from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Music in piano performance and Certificate in organ performance from the Florida State University. Our company is based in Sarasota, Florida.
